First State Hornets 11U (North)
The First State 11U Hornets (north) baseball team provides young players with year round college level coaching, facilities and a competitive tournament schedule. Going into our second full year of tournament baseball, we look to build on the improvements of both the individual player and the team as a whole. The FSH coaching staff is focused on the fundamentalsof the game; which help improve each player’s individual skill level, confidence level, and overall enjoyment for the sport of Baseball.
About our Tournament Schedule:
We look to kick off playing 11U (on Septemeber 1st) with at least 1 tournament a month for: September, October and Novemeber. We are also looking to mix in a weekend double header scrimmage games throughout the fall.
Looking ahead to the 2015 11U spring / summer season, starting in March, we have a comeptative tournament schedule lined up. We look to play in a minimun of 10 tournaments in 2015.
About our practices and facilities:
Practice times are Monday nights at 6pm and Saturday mornings at 8am.
Through our partnership with the First State Academy all of our regularly scheduled practices are held at college level facilities (both indoor and out) at Delaware State University.
